Meet Jess
Christian camping has played a big role in my faith and my love for the outdoors and adventure.
From an early age I set out to gain experience and understanding in how to reconnect people to the Creator through creation and adventure.
Over the years, I have had many opportunities to be exposed to different skill sets, types of programs, and training styles specific to outdoor recreation and adventure. It often felt like collecting interesting sticks and stones along a journey.
Now in working with African Christian Camping and associated camps, I have the opportunity to use those sticks and stones to help support and build up leaders and programs in East Africa.
I grew up and live in Denver, Colorado.
I have a Masters in Outdoor Education, and my Bachelors in Pastoral Studies
I currently hold certifications in Wilderness First Aid, Rock Climbing Instruction, Challenge Course Instruction, Leave No Trace.
